Sonoma County V. Napa County

Updated: Sep 4, 2019

Having worked in both areas of the above mentioned areas, I have seen some immense differences and even more similarities. However, to think they are totally different Wine areas, is more a perception than a reality! What do I mean by that?

Both of these areas are flourishing with the most amazing Wineries, large and small. Sonoma County weather allows the Chardonnay grape and the Pinot Noir grape to thrive. At the same time the Mediterranean climate in Napa County gives love to the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. If you traveled to Lodi, a city in Central California, you would see that the Zinfandel loving its life!

Different grapes in different settings are for you to enjoy. One is not better than the other but rather different from the other. So if you are coming into Wine Country, (which we really want you to do!), keep in mind that we are all part of Wine Country but we can offer you different styles, flavors, settings and much more.

One thing that is for sure, is that all of the tasting rooms and wineries work hard to give you the best experience ever, and we are ONE large family We can't wait to see you let you see what ultimate relaxation feels like.
